D.T. Mako is the author of Starshatter, the first book of the Parhelia Pair duology.

She is an optimistic nihilist and a self-proclaimed “wordsmith”. A video game developer by profession, her writing journey began, fittingly, with her first (and only) victory against her father in Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior. Leveraging her lifelong experience as a bookworm and passion for interactive storytelling, her writing delves into the complexities of villainhood and the inherently gray nature of morality. When not making games or patching plot holes, she enjoys rainy days, sleeping in, and the scent of freshly baked bread. She resides in San Diego, California with her Spycraft specialist parhelion and their pet cat who, fortunately, failed to bond to a relic.
