Starshatter is the first book in the Parhelia Pair duology by D.T. Mako. While it ends on a cliffhanger, it has a planned happily ever after.

Starshatter is a science fantasy romance that is “military lite”. It is very accessible for readers who have no knowledge or understanding of the military, real or otherwise. That said, it contains subject matter that may be disturbing or upsetting to readers who have triggers associated with aspects of the military or war. Content warnings can be found in the back of the book.

Despite the military setting, Starshatter is a story of connection, love, and loyalty above all else.
